Maokai was debuted at the Sogen Con 2013 Cosplay competition in Sioux Falls, SD and won Best in Show. My work has finally payed off. The Con staff were very helpful in pulling this off. There were many exceptions made for this costume, such as; I entered from stage left because that was the only side with a ramp (Maokai's large feet don't do stairs well), I was allowed a personal handler, and I was allowed to roam the halls a little even though I was pushing the size limits for most Cons. All and all I had a lot of fun making the costume and even more fun wearing it. A big thanks has to go out to my handler and girlfriend Rachel. WOW! This is really GREAT! I've been searching for a good MaoKai cosplay and so far this is the best! I'm now inspired to do a MaoKai cosplay. REALLY GREAT! Good Job Dude!
